Steven M. Segalas, Esq., has provided clients comprehensive family law services for nearly twenty years. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star. Attorneys selected as Super Lawyers represent the top percentage of lawyers practicing in this state.

He has handled the complexities of divorce matters involving issues as sensitive as custody and parenting time, as well as matters involving complex business valuation models. He is no stranger to handling high asset divorce matters as well as everyday matters for families with average incomes.

Matrimonial and Family Law
Mr. Segalas has been representing clients in the area of domestic relations throughout the State since 1997. His clients come to him because he has the experience, acumen, and discretion to help them resolve their most challenging life problems.

Steven Segalas has been practicing Family Law for over two decades and has appeared in courts throughout the State since that time.  He has been successfully published in areas of relocation at the appellate level

He has tried various matters to conclusion involving custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution. He is no stranger to working with financial and mental health experts to assist in clients in achieving a result that is fair and more importantly informed. With only a very small percentage of cases in the State going to trial, it is important to select a lawyer who is prepared to resolve your matter as well as try the matter if the need arises.

Mr. Segalas has also received mediation training and is a great advocate for matters being resolved with the assistance of various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including but not limited to mediation and/or arbitration.

Municipal Court Practice
In addition, Mr. Segalas has appeared in municipal courts throughout this State and is no stranger to motor vehicle offenses ranging from drug-related stops and arrests to traffic signal violations.

Real Property Transactions
Over the last twenty plus years, Mr. Segalas has also handled real property closings for both buyers and sellers, often under the most trying of circumstances, with a view towards a satisfactory closing for his clients.
